Hello, I just put up a new Hamptom Bay ceiling fan,but can not get it to work,it just has a remote control,the batteries are good in it,so was wondering if anyone knew of what to do,there is power to the fan so I know that I wired it right.

Does the LED on the remote light up? Does the fan have pullchains? Have you confirmed the dip switches match properly?
