I had my period on march 15th it was lighter then usual my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex right before, during and right after.. could I be pregnant and now experiencing a miscarriage because I started bleeding yesterday with cramping and unable to sleep with a terrible headache..

It's possible you are pregnant - but it could be anything else.

You could have the flu, just about anything.

Only time will tell. Can you ride this out or do you need to call a Doctor?

And how am I supposed to diagnose this over the Internet based on bleeding, cramping, inability to sleep and a headache? If you're the one with the symptoms and you can't figure it out, how would anyone else?

You need to see a Physician if the headache is so bad that you cannot sleep. You don't know if there will be future complications until you find out if you ARE or WERE pregnant and DID or DID NOT miscarry and WHY.

You are completely wrong. If it IS a miscarriage, you absolutely need to see a doctor to ensure that the fetus is completely expelled. If there is a complication, you can get extremely sick and risk potential infection or even death if left untreated.
