    Exhauast smell in the kitchen
It smells like exhaust in my kitchen. It may be because the dryer is running right now, but it doesn't usually smell like this in the kitchen. Nobody else can smell it but me :0/ I know I can smell it though, its stronger today. Our water heater is electric and the stove is electric. No gas so I don't understand what it could be?

There are many kinds of exhaust, each with a different smell.
Are you in a house or apartment building?
Where is your dryer exhaust relative to the kitchen? Have you ever checked under the lint trap and the front panel for extra lint? (Sweats and hoodies, any flannel/terry, will produce more lint than the screen can handle.)

If you recently have done some painting or cleaning with some type of solvent, you may have fumes in the air which are being pulled over the dryer heater. Solution? Air out the house.
