Hey Troy, and ex-con... agree with ex-con, however you can earn some points with your po by doing the right thing, and after a period, possibly look into an early termination. This is not the typical case. You must have a good reason, job/school, etc. Make sure all conditions of probation have been met, fee's/costs, any programs. Then if you pursue, I'd have a local county attorney look into this, to chat with the prosecutor, seeing if he/she would go along before going into court. The judge has the final say of course. If you had information to turn state's evidence or become an informant, you should have provided it to the state before getting sentenced. In such cases, they defer prosecution. However, talk to your PO about possibly doing some community service work. What did the judge say about early termination of probation? This is usually addressed at the time of sentencing. Talk to your PO.
