    Truck problem diagnosis
I have a 1997 Ford Ranger and standard transmission, I started my truck this morning and it sounded differently (not the usually roar sound) I was able to put it in reverse and back out. When I shifted to first gear it sounded like the engine died. I turned it back on and the engine started but died quickly afterwards. I check and I have enough gas, fuel and everything.
