    Why not turn off furnace button when NOT in use
    I have a 4yr old modular home/propane furnace////am told donot* touch wall button to turn it off when not in use,, Why not? I am told to leave it on 365 days of the year? Have turned it off with no problem and turn it back on in the evening.Please advise.. thanx.Tuliphour

    Turning power off to funace will not hurt a thing, however, leaving the power on won't hurt anything either. Not sure why you would turn it off, not saving anything, other than maybe a few pennys a year. Leaving it on, then turning the thermostat down is the logical solution, but like I said, turning power off won't hurt anything when unit is not in use.
