I just got my computer back from a friend who fixed it? But now I can't get any sound, and I'm not sure how or if I need to re-install the sound(Basic mSpeaker Set-up)system?

Don't know what Operating System your running, but if Windows, try the following...

Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > Sounds and Audio Devices

Once there check if the volume is at MAX, and check if its mute. You should also go to ADVANCE to check if all the knobs are at the top.
