ZMy children live with me in North Carolina, but their grandmother has temporary custody of them in Georgia what can I do as the mother to get the order lifted especially if the kids never lived with her in the first place?
Go to the court where the custody was granted to the grandmother and petition the custody order to be removed.
If the grandmother is agreeable to this (which she should be since the children have never lived with her), a notarized statement from her would be helpful.
