    Washington state real estate law?
    I am putting in an offer on a short-sale property which has an abandoned truck on it. If/when the real property is conveyed to me, will the personal property (the truck) convey as well? If so, how can I have it retitled in my name?

    A standard purchase agreement lists the usual 'fixtures' that convey with a property, and generally they are 'affixed' as in nailed or screwed down, and plantings. Anything uncertain needs to be added in writing. Refrigerators (and sometimes electric stoves), because they are so large but so easily removable, need to be spelled out.
    You need to add the truck to your offer, or better yet, buy it separately. You can't assume that it is abandoned, nor can you assume that the owner of the property owns it, nor that it doesn't have a lien on it that you might regret getting. You need to SEE the title from the owner.
