I've just starting taking ovranette I took it first the day my period came and I have had a constant period for about two weeks and period pain. What is happening?

Some women will experience irregular bleeding when first using birth control pills. Usually periods become regular, and for some women even lighter than their norm. Ovranette is one that often leads to lighter periods as it is sometimes used to treat heavy periods.

I would give your gp a ring and let them know your situation. It may be simply that your body is adjusting and after a couple of months it will sort itself out, but they may want to see if perhaps another pill would be a better option for you.
