Why does my 2000 ford explorer make grindind sound when turning left?
Why does my 2000 ford explorer make a grinding sound coming from the drivers side wheel when I make a left turn? It had new rotors and brakes put on 3 months ago. The rotor on the drivers side looks like it has a scratch going all the way around it about half an inch from the edge of rotor.

Stone or twig lodged between the pad and the rotor? Debris is often picked up during high speed driving.

Thank you I will check! I live on a road that is falling apart with small rocks everywhere.
