    Air in toilet bowl
I had a few big bubbles come up from my toilet days ago. Since then the toilet flushes regularly for about three times and then it will add water without draining the dirty water. I then have to leave it until the water level sinks to normal. If it means anything it's a low volume toilet.

Sounds like you have an obstruction in the drain, not the toilet. The drain may need to be augered with a sewer machine. I will NOT recommend acids or drain cleaners as we do not know what is causing the issue.
