Read this first: Expectations for the Homework Help board

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do not simply retype or paste a question from your book or study material

We won't do your homework questions for you.
You were given the assignment for you to learn.

If you come up with your own answer and post it for us to critique that is within reason.

If you have some SPECIFIC questions that you couldn't find or didn't understand, we may help with that.
But this is your assignment, so show us you have at least attempted to complete it on your own.

    Thank you.

WE don't DO your homework... we help YOU do it.

I'm new to this site--I didn't put a title for the question and it automatically came up as that.
I've been working on this problem for over an hour and cannot solve it. I do not understand sample sizes in statistics.
Sorry that my post seemed more like a solicitation than an ask for help.

It Means basically... TRY the homework... tell us what YOU think the answer is and why... and we will tell you if its wrong or not. Or help you try to do it yourself if you get it wrong.

A lot of people don't even want to try...

    Its about learning...

LOL the title of your question is priceless! Its called homework for a reason! And I certainly wouldn't be doing it free of charge, no body likes homework!

What we're trying to say, is at least give the question a try, even if that's wrong. Give what you were given and given what you know about statistics (you can't know nothing, or else, you wouldn't have this homework), give this question a try.

As the others have said, give it a try, post what you came up with. Don't worry, even if you're way off, we won't laugh at you. But, if we see your work we can help direct you, tell you where you went wrong, and help you get the answer.

We won't just do it for you, that's not helping, and helping is what we're about. You have to learn this so that when you have a test, you'll get it right.

So write down your work, lets start from there and then see what we can do. Okay? :)

I never frequent these boards, but the op did explain that the title just appeared, not by his choice. You guys know the issues with the new skin...

To the OP, our maths expert is a very smart young man, I am sure he will be more then happy to help you with your problem. Why don't you start by telling us where you are stuck, and what you have so far?
