I took Diflucan last Friday and had sex with my boyfriend on Wednesday. I am on birth control and have sever endometriosis which I am getting surgery on in the summer. Is it likely I will become pregnant?

As long as you have been taking the birth control as required, it would be unlikely you would become pregnant.

Diflucan is prescribed for a yeast infection and does not interfere with the birth control pill.

My friend's a nurse who's aunt got pregnant when on it, that's what makes me very uneasy.

Remember that no form of birth control is 100% effective. I got pregnant while using the pill faithfully AND condoms. I got pregnant this way not once, but twice!
