Hiya! I watched a film a few years ago and have been trying to remember the name of it since! I am not sure if it was colour or black and white but its was brilliant! Tragic but brilliant. It was about young women I think who got pregnant and were sent to work in a laundry room that was owned/ran by nuns. The nuns were evil and treated the girls awfully, one of the girls had her head shaved I think. Or perhaps they all did? One of the girls in the launderette I think was carrying the child of a man perhaps soldier who was often at the laundry place perhaps worked there? Anyway, she was one of the main characters and was lovely and ended up falling off a roof and dying, I think she was actually pushed in the end by the father of her child. I am not sure what else I can remember really, I think they were also beaten by the nuns? They were very cruel. Brilliant film! Any help greatly appreciated!
