Replaced shower valve, now water is luke warm.
My husband replaced the shower valve last night. This morning, the water barely got hot enough to take a shower. I had the knob turned all the way to the hot side. It was luke warm. What could be the problem? Last night, when he first changed it, the water was cold. He did something, and now just luke warm. Any thoughts on what needs to be done to get my hot water back?

New shower valves have anti-scald device installed behind the handle. Remove handle, toss the anti-scald ring, re-install handle - and you should have all the hot water you can get. Hope that helped. Milo
