100 lbs, well depending on your height, seem slike you are underweight. (so you know I am a nutritionist). I would suggest gaining 5-10 lbs. If you are too underweight, your body is unable to conceive, you may not ovulate, or if you do conceive, it too often ends in miscarriage because your body does not have the nutritients to support a pregnancy. I could way to see if you are under weight is to do a simple BMI calculation. Convert your weight to kg (which is about 45.5 kg) and divide it by your height in meters squared (kg/ (m^2), if its below 18.5 you are under weight. A healthy weight is having a bmi between 20.5 and 24 kg/m^2 (for most individuals). Don't forget to start on prenatal vitamins to prevent birth deffects and goodluck :)

Couple more things I forgot to mention. You should also have a prenatal examination to ensure you are healthy, and can conceive. You may have had, knowingly or unknowingly an STD at some point in your life, and unfortunately, this may prevent you from ever concieving. A quick visit to the doctor can elminate this or other possible reasons for infertility. If you turn out to be completely healthy and fertile, your partner should be examined for possible infertility. Once again goodluck :)

Lets not put the cart before the horse here. Your significant other may be the problem as well. After 5 years, not only should you be seen by a doctor for a perinatal exam, but your man should see a doctor as well. His sperm should be tested to make sure that he is not the reason you are not conceiving.
