Who can I contact to help me figure out which forms to use and how to fill it our? Husband always took care of this stuff but he died recently and I don't even know if I need to file.

Many Americans merely use a tax service, such as HR Block, Liberty and others. Other people with more complex taxes will hire and use a CPA. There are even programs, such as Turbo Tax, ( and many others) that ask you sort of fill in the blank questions to do your taxes
