I have a ge dryer that was overheating due to lint in vent pipe. Cleaned lint out now it is not overheating, but shutting off every 10 or 15 minutes the clothes are drying fine. Also took dryer apart and cleaned lint out of the inside. Any ideas?

Provided that the dryer restarts after a cool down period, and that you indeed cleaned all the lint off the motor and out of the ducts in the dryer, you probably have a bad motor.
You probobly need a new motor or just a new dryer. This happened to me too once and I just ended up buying a new one. Trust me it's not worth the work.
Hope I could help!
