I had sex the same day I first started my birthcontrol pills. It's been 3 weeks exact I'm not done my 3 week mark so I shuldn't be getting my period yet. But today I started bleeding really thick strands of blood. What are the chances that I'm having a miscariage?

You know of course that most birth control take from a couple weeks to over a month to be effective after you first start taking them. So if you were not on birth control and started taking them, you had no protection if you had sex at that time.

What brand of pills are you taking

I know I didn't have any protaction so I'm thinking it's a miscariage. I just went to the washorrom and there was some white and yellow and red blobs there. I know gross. When I pulled on them it was almost like skin or tissue is that normal?

It would be too early for any kind of skin or tissue to have developed.

It may just be what is called breakthrough bleeding.
