It may still be two early, did you use the first urine of the morning?

It definitely may be too early. I would wait another week, and use first morning urine.

You could always go for a blood test, they're more accurate. If not, then I would wait for another week, even two and then test again.

Some women don't get a positive with a urine test until well into their pregnancy, sometimes even the second trimester.

Make sure to follow the instructions on the test exactly. Most times a false negative is because of human error.
