Hi I'm having a problem with my ex wanting to change my son's last name to to her new husbands my ex and I don't talk any more dew to allot of different reasons I don't have parental wrights for him and it looks from all the info I have read that there isn't much I can do to stop her any help on the problem would be appreciated

I am sorry to tell you that if you have legally reliquished the rights to your child you have relinquished all rights in making decisions about the boy.

So, yes, she can do this without your permission since you have given up your rights.

I have to agree, you can try contacting an attorney and see what they say. Besides that there's not much that can be done.

Sometimes after giving up your rights.. you can get them back. I think an attorney would be you only choice at this time.
