    Brown line on belly
Hello, well I have been on loestrin 24 fe for some months now. I noticed recently that I have this light brown line on my belly. Me and me boyfriend do have unprotected sex. My last period was very light. And I haven't gotten this months period just yet. Is this light brown line normal? Should I be worried? How soon should I wait to take pregnancy test? Also, how many pills do someone need to miss in order to get pregnant?

It might just be where your stomaches growing.
I have a brown line threw my bellybuttons so its nothing too be worried about.
You take your pregnancy test the day after your periods meant too be.
&it doesn't matter if you only miss one pill there's still a chance of becoming pregnant.

You don't need to miss ANY pills. I got pregnant using the pill and the condom faithfully. Not once, but twice.

The brown line usually appears in the later portion of the second trimester of pregnancy. If you have not taken a HPT, it might be best to do so using first morning urine for better accuracy.

Bethanyjaynee can't answer your questions with any accuracy as she is only 14 years old.

Elaine... as J_9 mentioned, have you tried a pregnancy test? Many women will notice this line, pregnant or not. Pregnancy just happens to result in hormone changes that can alter the pigmentation of the skin making it more obvious for many women when pregnant.

It can take time once you actively start trying, but most women become pregnant within the first year. Some very soon after stopping birth control, some find it takes a bit of time.

Since you have stopped the birth control pills, start taking a multivitamin, or even a prenatal vitamin if you like, that has 400-600 mcg of folic acid. You can get a good amount in many fortified foods, but the vitamin will be extra insurance. This vitamin in particular is important when trying to conceive as it can help prevent certain birth defects that occur very early in a pregnancy.

Make any other lifestyle changes you know would be healthy and wise... this goes for your partner as well. You have the opportunity to make sure you are in very good health before becoming pregnant to help insure a healthy pregnancy.

Fingers crossed you don't have to try too long!

Thank you so much DoulaLc. Is there anything else that will help me become fertile quicker? Aside from patience?
