I have a pull chain that has L-1-2 and capacitor that has five wires two are gray one is red one is brown and one is purple can some one tell how they connect back the fan was given to me with the switch and capacitor disconnected any help would be great

It may be easier to find another fan like that, probably many sold in your area, then open up and take notes?
There are many variations, few drawings available, most have L,1,2,3. I never seen a L, 1 and 2?
