When a doctor giving you pain meds and you have a nervous break down over your son
Death and go into a mental hospital and get help and then they tell you they can't give you the meds that they have gave you for at least the last 10 years and they tell you that someone in the office has theatens them if he the doctor gives it ( the meds) to you. Then they won't write them and just tells you to find another doctor and when you do they will not send the new doctor you records that you tell them to sent and the girl that works the front that she just makes follow up appoints and answers the phone threatens you. When you take the release of the new doctor to them

You sound terribly, terribly upset - and I understand.

Am I correct that you have been on a certain medication for a period, you went into a mental hospital, the Doctor there won't give you those same meds because someone in the office has threatened the Doctor, that Doctor tells you to find another Doctor, you filled out the appropriate forms and that Doctor won't forward your medical records to the "new" Docor?

The receptionist at the old Doctor's office has threatened you?

Before I answer I want to make certain that I am correct.

There must be a mental health agency in your City. Have you contacted them for assistance? They are patient advocates.

Who threatened your Doctor (if he/she gives you meds)?

I'm not prying; I just need more info in order to answer you.

I no pharmacist, but it strikes me that there is something wrong if you are on these meds for ten years.

There is a guy there he is just a APRN and he suppose to see the patients that has nervous promblems and to check if the doctor has them on what he thinks is the right meds for their nervous and the doctor told me himself that John the APRN told him that if he the doctor wrote the meds for me that he would report him to the medical board so Dr. Greene is afaird of being reported to the medical board so he told me and my wife for me to find another doctor to go to and he would send them my records and help me to get the pain meds started back because I had went for help when I had the breakdown over the death of my son, so I found another doctor and took the release over to the office after I had faxed it a number of times and the girl up front told that she done the referals and which it not a referral it was just to get my medical records sent to another doctor and she was real hateful and theaten me, that if I came back threw the door that she was going to discharge me and she has nothing to do with anything and the mental health doctor that took care of me in the hospital told Dr.Greene that I needed the meds that I was on and I also see the behavoral health the is here in town and I see their doctor for the nerve meds that I am on and they have even sent a letter to the doctor and told him I was OK and to give me the meds back because in their opinion I needed them but he told my wife again the other day when she was there that he couldn't because John told him he would report him and Dr.Greene is suppose to be the medical director.

A guy that works there he is APRN and yes I see the mental health here in the town where I live and they even wrote Dr. Greene a letter and told him that was OK for him to write the meds. Yes it was the receptionist at the office when I took the release in there after faxing it a number of times to them as well as the new doctor I was hoping to start seeing. Wow! Yes, I think you need to consult the local mental health care "clinic" in your area. They will lead you in the right direction.

Is it possible for you to find another Doctor who will see you WITHOUT your past records? That way you can get immediate help and worry about your records later.

I'm sorry about the death of your son - very, very sorry.

It is possible that "someone" has decided that you have been on the same meds for too long. That does NOT explain not giving you another prescription.
