If i bought and paid in full for my mobile home, shouldn't i have the title ?
I bought a mobile home for $25,000.00 i have lived here now for 4 years. I still have not received the title to my home. When i ask the manager where it is, they're always telling me it's in trenton. I paid cash for my home. Is that legal?

No it's not legal, but you should only hand over the cash with one hand when you are being handed the title with the other. Now you may have to sue. I assume you mean title and not deed? You don't own the land it's on, do you?

    Hello A:

A mobile home has a title just like a car does, and it's registered in the same place too. Take your bill of sale to the DMV and ask them where your title is. IF the home is NOT encumbered, they'll tell you. Then you can apply for a duplicate title real easy.
