I have a 2 line Red Jacket jet pump that had a water leak between the motor and the Pump housing. I removed the 4 bolts and added a silacone gasket material and put back together. I fixed this problem but now the pump continues to run and only generates 20# of pressure. While the pump is running I have water in my faucets upstairs, but once I turn the pump off manually at the breaker the gauge reads 0# of pressure and no water. I checked the prime and it has water at the top of the hole when I remove the plug. I also checked the holding tank and it has 28# of pressure in the bladder. The pump cannot build pressure in the holding tank. What could be the problem?
