I over hear most girls who are pregnant that their period is one week late and when they get it it is only like a day or so... I had sex at the end of January and in February my period was a week late but when I got it my period was really weird... it usually last three days but this time it lasted for 1 1/2 to 2 days and it was a whole lot darker than normal and I feel nauseous a lot in the mornings... could I be pregnant??

For many women, not having a period at all is the first sign of pregnancy. For other women, having an off period, usually lighter flow and/or fewer days, can be an indication. Of course, it is also normal to have an occasional off period.

If you have sex, pregnancy will be possible. If you think it is likely in your case, try a pregnancy test. If it is negative, either give it another week and try again, or wait and see what happens when your next period would be due and test again at that time if necessary.
