Every relationship is different; every person is different. They have a "kid" together - it's good that they are in contact. They obviously have to make arrangements for that "kid."

As far as calling you by his name - it's probably just learned behavior after using his name for so many years. I wouldn't be offended. I'd bring it to her attention but end the conversation there.

The only way to know if she misses him, would prefer to be back with him, is to ask her.

I've asked her she says she doesn't but they'll be times she talks about him at length to me like I'm one of her girlfriends or something I mean what guy wants to hear about another guy from the girl he's dating ivetold her I don't like it but sometimes I think she does it without thinking about who she's talking to so it makes me wonder is she more focused on who's the story about or who she's having a conversation with?

This is another one of those "only you know" questions. If she talks about him more than makes you comfortable and you've told her about it and she keeps doing it, well, then I think I'd tell her the relationship is over and why.

The other thought is if her relationship with her "ex" was so wonderful, why is he her "ex."

When she starts talking about him, tell her you don't want to hear it. She'll either end the relationship or stop talking about him.
