Separate the fish now! The pleco is tropical and the gold fish is not. They belong in different water temps and conditions. Test the water parameters. How large are the fish and how big is the tank and filter? Are there other fish, or just the 2 ?
The pleco is just taking advantage of an ill fish, eating it!!
GZDZ is partially right - he's right about the different temp needs, and he's right about the pleco attacking the goldfish - but then pleckos (not bristlenose) do that in also healthy environments.
As suggested you have to separate them, and give at least base water parameters, and describe your setup.
Also do a partial 30% water change, and that should help. Also note if there are any growths / spots / redness etc on the goldy - a pic would be fab.
