Hello I have a friend who let me live with him in his apt and he really doesn't suppose to have anyone living with him but I've been living there over a year and I live in North Carolina can he put me out in a week and I am not on a lease

You can kick people out even WITH a lease in certain circumstances.

Without a lease you really have few rights... and they can put you out with thirty days notice without any reason at all.

After all, its not YOUR place... and you have no lease in YOUR name.

Whether you have a lease or not you have established residency. He can't summarily kick you out. He has to give you 30 days notice to vacate.
