First where is here, since the laws of that area will apply.

But most likely it will be better and easier if you merely move with mom and finish school. It sounds like your mom is trying hard to improve her life and help makes yours easier also

Going along with this completely. Your mom is finishing school, that's GREAT. She obviously wants the best for you, so just roll with it. Finish school and get yourself in College. . <---which is where you'll get your freedom ;)

Think of it this way: with all the electronic devices we have nowadays, it's so totally easy to stay in touch with old friends. Also, by moving, you will get the opportunity to make new ones at your new school which you will leave in a year anyway to make new friends in college.

There may be additional opportunities (cultural, employment, travel, shopping, networking, etc.) at your new location.

I hear what you are saying lexi1223. I had a chance to move as well and my daughter will be in her senior year next year. She didn't want to leave the friends that she has spent the last 11 years growing up with only to graduate in a school that meant nothing to her or where she didn't have such close friends.

I sympathize with the position you are in. Remember, she is looking for a job, she doesn't have one yet.

Is there a family member you can stay with for your final year of school?
