Filing Previous years tax from India
    Hello,

I worked for 6 months in year of 2009 and returned to India in June. So now to file taxes:

    1. Can I file them online?
    2. Do I need to have active US bank account or can I provide Indian bank account for returns?

    Thanks

You cannot e-file using a foreign address, you will need to print your return and send by regular mail (send it registered/certified)
You cannot choose a direct deposit into a non-US bank account. You would get a check that you can deposit in your account.

You must file paper return. If you give your India address, IRS will mail your refund check at your address.
