    Bathtub only lukewarm water
    All of a sudden I cannot get good hot water in the shower. The water all over the house will almost burn you. I have know idea.
    The other shower is fine. What is the name of the " heat limiter " thingy and is it replaceable ?

    After taking the knob off I found a worn out "seat" on the cold side. Then the tub leaked all night. Went to Lowe's and got new seats and springs. Replaced both. I assume that the cold water was mixing "leaking" into the hot causing the lukewarm water.
