Can I stop the father of my son from seeing him if he's a criminal?
Hi I need to know if the father of my 10 month old son has any legal rights for access or visitation? We are not married but he is a very dangerous man who is currently in prison but soon to come out.Hes a multi drug user mainly heroin and is a high risk prolifik offender with over 76 previous convictions and has spent 7 months of my sons life in prison. He beat me up when I was pregnant and I fled domestic abuse. When he did get out I gave him the opportunity to be a dad as it's our 1st baby and he promised he would change however within 2 days he was shouting and screaming at him so I kicked him out and from there has committed crimes, smoked drugs and was brutaly attacked with the intention to kill by a meshetti. He will never change and my son is not safe with him, he is the worst influence for him as a dad and I don't want my son to have any involvement with that life. I would like to know what my rights are?

Yes he had this record when I was pregnant and no I'm not thinking of having more children with him now, not after the way he treated him, he was never there for him and when he was, he didn't know how to be a dad to him so he delt with him in the wrong way with his anger which is not acceptable to me. He has proven to me that he is not capable or reliable and I don't trust him after all the lies and manipulation as well as drug use, the list goes on.
