Social care agency covers a lot of ground; could you define exactly what you mean. Do you mean elder in home care?

I mean a care agency to supply staff to nursing homes and to care for the elderly people in their own homes

Sophie, I couldn't advise you on the registration and licensing fees for a care agency in the UK. It sounds like you are planning this on a large scale if you are to supply workers (mind you they will have to be licensed PSWs). One thing you may want to, or have to consider is liability insurance if you are going to private dwellings to care for your clients. I csnt advise you the cost of that. I would not even be able to give you a ballpark.

What I am basically saying is, your request is not in our scope to provide. It will be your responsibility alone to source out licensing fees, insurance and registration fees.

Are you an RN or RPN yourself; you will have to have minimal nursing staff and a doctor on call should any emegencies occur while your workers are out in the community. So, there you go again, the cost of that varies as well.

I will supply you with a PDF file which will be helpful regarding Standards for domiciliary agencies in the UK. Within that file you should be able to pick out what resources you will need when setting up.
