    Injury from buggy at walmart
I cut my hand open on a buggy at wal mart. I pulled the buggy from the side right where a piece of the metal was sticking up. It sliced my hand opened. When the manager came he offered no help other then to fill out report. I took myself to get meds and bandaide check out told cashier what happened she then told me that there was a first aide kit at customer service I just laughed cause it was never offered to me by manager I went to my car cleaned my hand and wrapped it up. Then called 1800 walmart then cmi they said they would make a claim. I told them I was going to get tetanus shot at dr to be on safe side they said that they couldn't pay ony medicl bills that it was between me and dr. I called back next day to tell them I went to dr they told me that thy haven't done rthe claim yet. Told me to call back again. I have been in bedf all day from side effects of shot I can't move my arm and my hand hurts. What do I do next?

You pursue the claim with Walmart's insurance carrier.

Umm generally that's what you do. When you went to the doctor you should have noted that the injury was the result of an accident. Your carrier will probably help you make the claim against Walmart's insurer. This means you will have to reimburse your carrier for anything you get over the co-pay.

Scott is correct. This is how the system works. You or your insurance pays forst and them, hopefully, they pay you back.

Yes, it may even take years to settle some injury claims, after law suits

Hopefully you took a photo of the injury, and even a photo of the cart if you could. Next did you get the managers name, if not get it,

Next get off the phone and start writing letters making your cliam in writing.
