    As far as etiquette goes I've never heard anything to the contrary. But why not cut out the ambiguity and print address labels? If you'd prefer hand-written, I don't see why it would be a problem for you to do it.

    Etiquette is always hand addressed. Very tacky to use printed labels.

    I thought about that after I posted, I should have edited it out. OP-don't listen to my label idea.

    I looked at an ehow article about handwritten labels and I didn't see anything against mothers writing their son's graduation labels.

    I love my son, he's gifted and beautiful and talented and he does a lot of things really well... but I would not let him (nor most of his friends!) anywhere near a stack of beautiful invitations... they'd end up looking like his homework (ugh!)
