My husband has been on probation for the last year. He got picked up on a warrant for revoction of probation for not keeping up on his po fees he also had a pending charge for having a empty bag of cocain in his pocket 4 months ago he has been in jail for a month now cause I couldn't afford his 5,000 cash bond . He goes to court in a week for both charges I have paid his po fees so that now he is current . What do you think will happen to him

Odds are... he's going back. He has TWO violations. THey won't likely turn a blind eye to them.

BUT its not over until the hearing and a ruling. He might get off easy.

Did he report the arrest to the PO for the "empty bag" was the first charge he is on probation for, a drug charge ?

If he did not tell PO, that can also be considered another charge if they found out without him telling.

But my guess, he will do more time, even a few months, to help him understand to take Probation serious. But you never know what a judge will do

No he was put on probation for assault a year ago . And was doing good on probation but got behind on fees and was issued a warrant he's never had a drug charge. Can his lawyer get him a relase with drug classes or something besides jail time?
