What type of test was used? Or, if unknown, does the printout show a numeric result i.e. ng/ml or or simply a range such as low, high or similar wording? Name of lab that provided test services?

Also please provide prescribed dosage and elapsed time from last dose to test.

Not sure exactly what test was used. It was a quick urine at my pain mgmt doctors office. My numbers were around 3,000-5,000 and they are supposed to be anywhere from 16,000-20,000. I take oxycontin 20 mg bid and percocet 5 mg tid as needed. I don't get it, I have gained almost 30 lbs since the summer and I never really gave the office an accurate weight. I have diabetes which is uncontrolled, my sugar is sky high and I pee (sorry lol) almost every 20 minutes. I'm not sure if any of that has anything to do with my test but I am concerned. I have always taken the same amt of medication. Once in awhile I take 2 of the percocets instead of all three but lately my pain has been awful and I have been taking all three. TY for posting

My first guess would be that the variance is due to test interpretation. POC tests usually depend on a visual line and are very poor at quantifying the drug. Simply ranges Can also relate to procedural problems as there are specific times within which these tests must be viewed and that varies from one manufacturer to another.
