Fired for getting sick, Should I be concerned?
I am getting fired from my job, for calling into work sick. I realize that they can fire me for absolutely no reason at all, but then my boss asked me to stay at my job and work for the next two weeks. I asked for and they have denied my request for documentation from them on my termination. They stated that they are not legally obligated to do so. Something about this sitaution seems very fishy. Should I be concerned?

I think that they may be trying to keep me from getting unemployment. If I stay the two weeks I am still fired. It seems odd that they would fired me and still ask me to stay on for two weeks.
If I get sick due to something at my job can they fire me for getting sick?
Can I be Fired for getting sick if something at work is making me ill?
