How do I expunge a conviction when I was in the army?
Husband was convicted in the Army when he was 19. He is 43 and when he tried to get certification from the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms) for some training he was taking for his job, he was denied because of this conviction 24 years ago. Can he do anything to get this removed or expunged??

    Hello J:

I don't believe the federal government has provisions for expungement... But, they DO have provisions for a pardon. I'd try to get me one of them. It's going to take a lawyer.
