    What type of acid waste? There are many things you simply legally can't put down a sewer drain.

    Hi Scivy...

    The answer and piping materials that are accepted will be state/city/town specific. This is not a question that we can reasonably answer here... ;)

    No doubt the acid will need to be neutralized but some places do it using 1 tank, others use 2 or even 3 neutralizing tanks/chemicals.

    Call your local building/plumbing inspector and talk with him, OK?
