    Hiiiiii,

    In my office we have 50 computers,all these will work in workgroup only.other 3 employees will work from home only.these 3 employees must chat with these 50 employees.I don't want Yahoo messenger and gmail these type of chatings.is there any software to chat in lan and out 3 systems.*** its very urgent

    Microsoft Communicator (NOT messenger) and Lotus Sametime are just two that come to mind.

    You don't HAVE to use either. It depends on which you like better... and which makes more sense to you cost wise.

    I actually use BOTH at work. (different portions of the company use one or the other... I actually deal with both groups however) They each have their good points.

    Because you actually have to buy either. I would talk to a sales guy... have them explain their features to you. What they cost and decide which will be a better fit to your offices needs and be in your buget.

    There really is no one right or wrong answer that applies to everyone. If you see the point I am trying to make. What works for me how I use it for example might not be the best for how you would need to use it. They both can do a lot more than just send instant messages.

    In a 50+ license environment you don't jump into things blind. You have to make an infomed decision. An bad choice can be very expensive.

    And no... sorry, I am not familiar with the pricing aspects of either. Only having been using these for a long time.
