How to deal with being number 2 until number 1 is gone?
I talking to this girl, she is amazing. Makes me feel happy and better about myself for the first time in awhile. But I have been burned many times in the past. I kind of set myself up for it. Well me and her set out to move in with each other to get her out of a bad sitution and we could be together< well tonight I went to met her for dinner and she told me she couldn't move out cause her current boyfriend had put her name on there new apartment lease. So she was unable to move in with me. How am I to feel when I keep in 2nd best? She worth the wait if there is a end in the near future, but I can't wait forever can I?

I don't believe her name can be on the lease legally until she signs it...

Don't hang around waiting for someone who clearly isn't honest with you.

Chalk this one up to experience.

    I don't think it's a matter of you being number 2.

She has a number 1 and nothing else below it. Even if she broke up with this guy, there's no guarantee that she will move in with you.

If you're not her number 1, then you're not her priority.

I would say, quit hanging on to something that may never happen and find someone else who feels the same way about you.
