Is it possible to wire a 120 volt fan limit switch to a 24 volt gas valve? If so how would you need to wire it?

No, the 24v side of the system needs to be separated from the 120 side. Usually this is done through a tranformer and relays. What is it exactly that you are trying to do. Please give a more detailed description and we will try to help you out.
