My kids dad has never been a part of their lives except the first year. We've never been married, and I have no idea where he lives and I moved to another state. I could never afford a lawyer so I never went to court for custody and he's never paid a dime out. All I know is that he has been in and out of jail. How can I go about getting their last name changed to mine, the mother?
