My mom was diagnosed with shingles on Tuesday the 8th. She had a small spot on the back of her neck. She was put on Valtrex or Famvir. She has sores on her ear now, up the back of her head and a small spot on her face. The ones on the back of neck (which FIRST appeared) are scabbed over now. What can speed this up? She is Matron of Honor in my wedding Saturday the 19th. I understand if she can't be in it, but she is very upset. ANY help or suggestions??
