    California Child Support Age?
My daughter is a full time student at a college. Her father wants to stop the child support when she turns 21. Can my daughter continue to receive her child support until she graduates ?

It all depends on what your court order states.

What does the support order say? Generally, a support order will specify when the support can end.

Yes, the actual court order that was done at the time child support was started, should state specificly at what age support ends

If it doesn't say support ended at 18. And unless it was agreed upon California doesn't write education orders into support orders on a typical basis.

To agree with Califdad... education orders, when granted are usually agreed upon as part of a divorce, and are not generally included in a child support order.

Lets be clear about this. I stated about California. Some states like New York and Indiana do have provisions for it in their respective laws. And more states have been trying to move that way.
