I found out while I was in hospital that I was pregnant they took blood and it came back that my HCG level was 450 and iwas about 13 days (since conception) they redone the test 48 hours later and it came back 1600 (cant remember exact number put def 1600 somthing) so its nearly quadrupled does that mean it could be twins. Please help!!

I really couldn't tell you this but I do know that the HCG levels can rise rapidly the more pregnant you are and I think they can lower when your really far into your pregnancy. This is just what I have learned I could be wrong though

Yeah I've had a look on site about levels in early pregnancy an normally the levels rise an double every 48 hours an if it triples or quadruples its most often twin or multiples and according to the charts my levels are still high, isn't got my scan for another week an get stop thinking about it. Don't no if it can still be that high with 1 baby

Try your best not to fret so much until your scan, there's no point wasting energy on worrying so much when there is absolutely nothing you can do right now so try and relax until your scan and luckily its only a week away! Also you can go private and get a scan as early as tomorrow it will cost you though and its not guaranteed they will see much this early on.
